KATHMANDU: A light rain has occurred in the Kathmandu Valley due to the effect of local and westerly wind on Saturday morning.
Similarly, a light rain has also occurred in one or two places of Gandaki Pradesh this morning.
Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has forecast light rains amid thunderstorms in the hilly regions of Pradesh 1, Bagmati and Gandaki Pradesh in the afternoon today.
The weather will reman mainly fair in the rest of the provinces today, said the Division.
Similarly, light rain compounded with thunderstorms is expected in the hilly areas of Pradesh 1, Bagmati and Gandaki Pradesh and in some places of Madhesh Pradesh on Sunday .
