NEPSE’s downward journey continues Wednesday

Stock market  goes down by 30.29 points



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) fell by double digits on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

The NEPSE decreased by 30.29 points and stopped at 2514.65 points today.

Similarly, Wednesday recorded a turnover of Rs 2.35 billion recorded.

According to NEPSE, 171 companies faced the decline while 19 companies saw an increase.

Of these, the share price of Mountain Energy Nepal rose sharply. The company’s share price increased by 8 percent to Rs 1,135 per share today.

Likewise, the shares of Bishal Bazaar Company, Community Microfinance Financial Institution, Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydropower and Nepal Hydro Developers Company declined sharply today. The company to lose most saw the fall of 5 percent today.

Today, Nepal Telecom Company turned the largest in terms of turnover. The company had a turnover of over 105.2 million Wednesday.
