Delegation of France-Nepal Parliamentary Friendship Group holds talks with Speaker Sapkota



KATHMANDU: A delegation led by President of the France-Nepal Parliamentary Friendship Group Véronique Riotton paid a courtesy call on Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota.

During the meeting at his office in Singha Durbar, Riotton expressed the hope that the diplomatic relations between the two countries would be further strengthened, according to the Secretariat of the Speaker.

Riotton said that they are working hard to accelerate the development partnership between the two countries.

During the meeting, parliamentary practices of both the countries and their experiences were also discussed.

President of France-Nepal Friendship Group of the French House of Representatives, Véronique Riotton is on a visit to Nepal.

The visit at the invitation of the Chairperson of Nepal-France Inter-Parliamentary Group, Madhav Kumar Nepal has been aimed at further strengthening Nepal-France relations.

Vice Presidents, Nicolas Forissier, and Madam Graziella Melchior, are accompanying Riotton.
