Prohibitory order imposed in Lamjung’s Sundar Bazaar after tension flares



LAMJUNG: Local administration has imposed a prohibitory order at Bhoteodar in Lamjung after tension flared following the death of a school student.

The prohibitory order has been clamped at Sundar Bazaar-9, Bhoteodar after kin of 10th grader of Future Star Boarding School Sajin Shrestha, 17, drowned in the Marshyangdi River while swimming.

The irate kin of deceased, who originally comes from Bhanu municipality-9, Tanahun, vandalized the school saying that the administration left the hostel students uncontrolled which led to the student’s death.

Meanwhile, police have taken the hostel warden under control. Police said they have taken the hostel warden under control for investigation.

After the tension ran high, the local administration has imposed the prohibitory order from 6 am today in Sundar Bazaar area until further notice.
