KATHMANDU: Ruling Nepali Congress (NC) is holding a meeting of its office bearers today.
The meeting said to be held at the party’s central office at Sanepa in Lalitpur this afternoon is to discuss and decide the agenda for tomorrow’s work execution committee meeting, according to the party.
Likewise, the meeting will also discuss the tenure of its sister organizations, upcoming elections, MCC, among other issues.
The office bearers’ was also held on Tuesday. However, party President Sher Bahadur Deuba was absent from the meeting.
Tuesday’s meeting discussed the recent political situation, election and other issues.
Koirala faction holding meeting
KATHMANDU: The Shekhar Koirala faction of the Nepali Congress (NC) is holding a meeting this afternoon.
Leaders of the Koirala-led faction are scheduled to hold a discussion at 1 pm with the office bearers to decide the strategy for the meeting of the office bearers and the executive committee to be held today and tomorrow.
