JANAKPURDHAM: All three thematic committees under the Madhes Province Assembly which have been lying vacant for long got leadership.
As informed, Naresh Kumar Yadav of Nepali Congress has been elected the President of the Public Accounts Committee while Madansen Srivastava of CPN (Unified Socialist) got elected the President of the Agriculture and Land Management Committee.
Likewise, Jagat Prasad Yadav of CPN (Maoist Center) was unanimously elected the President of Natural Resource and Environment Committee, the province assembly secretariat shared.
Prahlad Giri Goshwami of the main opposition party Loktantrik Samajwadi Party had filed his candidacy for PAC President while Jagataran Devisah Sudi of CPN-UML was vying for the President of Agriculture and Land Management Committee.
