Earthquake felt in Sudur Paschim Province



KATHMANDU: An earthquake has occurred with its epicenter in Doti. According to the National Seismology and Research Center, an earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale took place with its epicenter around Khaptad National Park in Doti district today at 9:07 PM.

The earthquake was felt in most of the districts of the Sudur Paschim province.

It was a fresh tremor and not an aftershock of the 2015 Gorkha earthquake, the centre said.
