UML, JSP agree to share 16 seats each in Madesh Province

KATHMANDU: Of the 32 seats in the Madesh Province, the CPN-UML and the Janata Samjbadi Party (JSP) have agreed to share 16 seats each in the upcoming general elections, said a UML leader.

Likewise, the UML has decided to support the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP)  in Jhapa-3 while the RPP has decided to support the UML in Jhapa-5.

“We won’t be sharing many seats with RPP. So far we have agreed to join hands with RPP for a maximum of six seats,” a leader close to UML said.
