DANG: Two policemen died in a road accident involving a motorcycle in Deukhuri of Dang.
Two policemen working for Armed Police Force battalion in Bhaluwang died in the incident that took place on the East-West Highway in Musaria of Rapti Rural Municipality-3 last night.
The deceased have been identified as Lahanu Chaudhary of Lamhi municipality-1 and Sulesh Chaudhary of Rapti rural municipality-6.
Armed Police Force Superintendent Binod KC shared that Lahanu died on the spot while Sulesh died on the way to the hospital.
KC said that they met with an accident while returning to the battalion after completing their duty in rescue operations carried out at various places in Deukhuri following incessant rains and subsequent floods.
