Cadres protest demanding NSU be given full shape

KATHMANDU: Students close to the Nepal Student Union (NSU), a student union of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC), protested on Monday against the failure of the party leadership to give full shape to fraternal organizations, including the NSU.

Although the NC Central Committee decided to give full shape to all the fraternal organizations by August 16, the decision has not been implemented.

Currently, there is only Dujang Sherpa, the president, and no central committee in the NSU.

Students close to leader Shekhar Koirala protested in Sanepa today demanding that NSU should be given full shape.

They said that they would continue their protest to make the leaders keep their words of fulfilling the vacant posts of the NC fraternal organizations by August 16.
