BIRATNAGAR: CPN (UML) general secretary Shankar Pokhrel has said the term of Parliament would continue in accordance with the Constitution even after the announcement of the general election date.

“It is, however, wrong to assign any business to the parliament in the aftermath of the election announcement,” he said while talking to media persons briefly at Biratnagar Airport today.

The former Chief Minister said judiciary was marred by several issues and misconducts and its full reform was awaited.

He also took time to claim that political alliance of any kind was not the need of the hour.
