Five vehicles collide in Hetauda, 15 students injured



HETAUDA: Five vehicles collided in Hetauda of Makwanpur on Monday morning.

Tek Bahadur Karki, Deputy Superintendent of Police of the District Police Office said that the accident happened on the East-West Highway in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-15 Ratomate at 9:05 am Monday morning.

School buses, trucks, tankers, cars, and lorries collided with each other on the highway.

15 people including students were injured in the accident.

They are being treated at Hetauda Hospital and Churehill Hospital.

Karki said that the condition of all of them is normal.

According to Karki, the Reliance School bus (1K 5123) was hit from behind by a truck (5K 6254).

At the same time, the same truck hit a tanker numbered (Lu 1 a 7370). The tanker then hit a car (Ba 7 Ch 9604).

Likewise, the truck again hit a lorry (2-03-001-B 2506) which was stopped on the roadside.

The bus and truck were coming towards Hetaunda.

Police said further investigation is going on.
