Hridayesh to contest elections with his own party symbol



KATHMANDU: Former minister Hridayesh Tripathi, who was elected to the House of Representatives by contesting under CPN-UML’s symbol “Sun” in the previous parliamentary elections, has decided to contest under his party’s election symbol in the November 20 election.

Tripathi has registered Janata Pragatisheel Party under his leadership.

The party has already participated in the local level elections with the election symbol “farmer” carrying a spade.
