Prime Minister Deuba’s spouse Arju Deuba in Delhi

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s spouse Arju Rana Deuba has reached New Delhi, the capital of India.

According to sources, Rana landed in New Delhi on Tuesday afternoon, and her visit is said to be purely personal.

Sources said she has gone to New Delhi for treatment.

The source claimed that she has started treatment at Max Hospital in New Delhi.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs had informed the Nepalese Embassy in Delhi about her visit only a few days ago.

Even though her visit is said to be personal, she is likely to meet with the leaders of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) including Vijay Chauthaiwala, a source in Baluwatar said.

She is scheduled to return home on June 16.
