If KP Oli wins, he will dissolve the parliament and restore monarchy: PM Deuba

POKHARA: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that if CPN-UML wins the election, UML Chair KP Oli will dissolve the parliament the next day and restore the monarchy.

Addressing the election rally organized by the ruling coalition in Pokhara on Sunday, Prime Minister Deuba accused UML chair Oli and his party (UML) of being against the republic.

“If Oli wins, will he keep the parliament? He will dissolve it the next day,” he said, adding, “Oli and his party are against democracy and the republic.”

Addressing the cadres who were dissatisfied with the distribution of the seats among the alliance, Prime Minister Deuba, who is also the NC president, said that the alliance’s candidate should be made victorious to save the nation from the autocracy of UML Chair Oli.
