NHLS’s national conference concludes in Chitwan



CHITWAN: The national conference of the National Heart and Lung Society (NHLS) has concluded in Chitwan.

In the one-day session, participating cardiac surgeons and pulmonologists exchanged their expertise and experiences on new technology in the related field, said the conference coordinator and the Society general secretary Dr Shankar Laudari. The total 168 specialists in the related field took part.

Similarly, the issues discussed in the session ranged from the situation of heart disease in the world including Nepal, its causes, exploration of new technology in detecting the disease and its treatment and ways to prevent the disease, he said.

The Society President Prof Dr Mani Prasad Gautam said that the seminar was fruitful in exploring more effective treatment for heart patients through the exchanges of new technologies.

The total 26 scientific working papers were presented in the conference.
