Local election: 255 staffers to be deployed in Rasuwa



RASUWA: As many as 255 government employees will be deployed in Rasuwa for the local level election to be held on May 13.

According to the Election Commission, Rasuwa, a list of polling officers, assistant polling officers, support staff and office assistants has been prepared.

Out of the selected staffers, training will be provided to the polling officer and assistant polling officer on Sunday as well.

After that, they will be assigned to the centers.

Training has been provided to the polling officers and assistant polling officers to be deployed in Langtang and Naukund on Saturday.

This time 34 polling stations have been set up in the district.

The district has as many as 38,545 — 19,689 male and 18,885 female — voters.
