 Hukum Basnet elected UML Dang chair



KATHMANDU: Leader Hukum Basnet has been elected as the chairman of Dang district through the district convention of the CPN-UML.

The convention held on Saturday morning elected a 121-member committee under the chairmanship of Basnet.

Ram Mani Pandey has been elected as vice chairman, Manohar Budhathoki has been elected as secretary and Krishna Bhusal and Hira Devi Pun have been elected as deputy secretaries, informed Election Officer Damodar Pandey.

UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli had inaugurated the district convention in 61 districts at one go from the central party office, Thapathali on Friday.

The district conventions have been postponed in 16 districts due to internal reasons and partly bad weather.
