KATHMANDU: Central Chairperson of Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) Mahantha Thakur has been recommended from Saptari constituency-4 in the election to the House of Representatives (HoR) member under the first-past-the-post category.
A regional gathering of the party held at a meeting hall of the District Coordination Committee Saptari recommended his name for HoR member election scheduled for November 20, LSP central leader Gajendra Mandal shared.
The gathering also recommended another central leader of the party Jaya Prakash Thakur for HoR member election under the first-past-the-post category.
Among other recommended for HoR member under proportional representation system include Dulara Devi Khadga, Amarkanta Jha, Lila Gupta, Pabitri Devi and Hem Mishra, the party sources said.
