KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place at 2 pm today.
According to the Parliament Secretariat, since Wednesday’s proposals in the agendas were not discussed, Thursday’s meeting is set to discuss the agendas that were removed since the quorum needed for the same was not met.
It takes one-fourth (69) numbers of parliamentarians to endorse any proposal in the House.
The meeting on Thursday endorsed the Acid and Other Hazardous Chemical Substances (Regulation) Bill-2079 BS. Minister for Home Affairs Bal Krishna Khand had presented the proposal seeking the endorsement of the Bill.
