Nepal sees 28 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 28 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday.

Out of the confirmed cases, seven were detected through the RT-PCR method and 21 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 3,376 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours. Of them, 2,120 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,256 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 107 active cases in the country as nine infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No person died due to coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,952 to date.
