NAC to conduct three flights a week to Saudi Arabia

KATHMANDU: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) will conduct Kathmandu-Riyad-Kathmandu flights three times a week from April 14.

The Nepali flag carrier is set to conduct flights to Saudi Arabia, the largest absorber of Nepali migrant workers, with the permission from Saudi Arabia.

General Authority of Civil Aviation, the Civil Aviation regulatory body of Saudi Arabia, granted a permission to the NAC to conduct flights on Sunday.

With this permission, the NAC will now conduct flights to Riyad, Damman and Jeddah.

Meanwhile, NAC, issuing a press note on Sunday, said that it will conduct three commercial flights a week to Kathmandu-Riyad-Kathmandu.

The Saudi Arabia government had given approval to the NAC for operating flights in 2002 and 2020 as well but it did not happen then due to lack of aircrafts and poor management.
