Three killed, two injured in car-truck collision in Butwal



BUTWAL: Three people have been killed in a road accident at Butwal in Rupandehi district.

Two persons have been injured in the accident. The condition of one of the injured is critical.

The accident took place at around 5 on Monday morning when a car and a truck collided at Butwal Sub-metropolitan 12, Tamnagar.

According to Area Police Office, Ranyaura, a truck (Na 2 Kha 9772) heading towards Butwal from the west carrying straw collided with a car (Lu 3 Cha 4442).

The injured are undergoing treatment at Lumbini Provincial Hospital in Butwal, police said.

The deceased have been identified as Sabin Chaudhary, Govinda Chaudhary and Navin Shrestha of Butwal-13.
