Second dose of Pfizer being administered from today

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is launching the campaign of Pfizer vaccination (second dose) from today to February 19.

The KMC made such a decision as per the meeting of the District Vaccine Coordination Committee, Kathmandu held three days back.

Chief of the health section at KMC Balram Tripathi issued a notice in this regard. The vaccination program runs every day except Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The vaccine centers have been fixed at nearby schools by the vaccine coordination committee of all 32 wards.

The children belonging to the 12-17 age group, who got the Pfizer vaccine three weeks back, will be provided the second dose.

So, the children of this age group should visit the nearby vaccination center bearing the vaccination card.
