KATHMANDU: Students have staged a strike to protest against Nobel Medical College demanding extra fees from MBBS students in Biratnagar Friday.

Students staged a strike at Kanchanbari check post along the Koshi Highway, disrupting vehicular movement.

The Nobel Medical College, Biratnagar, had demanded extra fees than the amount determined by the Medical Education Commission and barred those students not paying extra fees from entering the classroom.

Students have been protesting against the college’s decision to charge extra fees.
