Young couple found dead in Kapan



KATHMANDU: A girl and a boy who were in a live-in relationship have been found dead at Kapan in Kathmandu.

The deceased have been identified as Amish Jimi, 26, of Shankhuwasabha and Yunisha Rai of Khotang, informed SSP Chandra Kuber Khapung of Metropolitan Crime Division, Kathmandu.

They were found dead in the room of Jimi’s great aunt’s house in Shivaji Chowk, Kapan. The girl’s body has several knife injuries and the boy had his throat slit.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of police had reached the incident site on Wednesday night. According to the police, the girl had been found lying on the floor naked and the boy was partially naked. The boy was rushed to Helping Hand Hospital, Chahabil since his heart was still beating.

He was pronounced dead in the course of treatment.
