KATHMANDU: Westerly low-pressure system is having an impact on the weather system across the country with generally cloudy weather.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy with chances of light rain in all the seven provinces today. Light to moderate snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous regions of the country.
Currently, light rain is occurring in one or two places of Pradesh 1 and 2.
Similarly, light rain is forecast in one or two places of Pradesh 1, 2 Bagmati and Gandaki Pradesh tonight.
On Saturday, rain is expected in many places of Sudurpaschim and Karnali Pradesh light rain is expected in a few places of the rest of the provinces.
Likewise, light snowfall is likely in many places of high hilly and mountainous regions of the country.
