KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has shed 12.89 points on the first trading day of the week, Monday.
With this, the index has come down to 2,065.82 points.
The stock market has been falling continuously for the past few weeks.
Most sub-indices closed red with only six sub-groups closing green on the first day of this new trading week.
The total turnover of the day was limited to Rs 1.27 billion. A total of 4,409,691 shares of 228 companies traded via 25,908 transactions today, resulting in the total turnover.
Meanwhile, stock trading of Himalayan Bank Limited also resumed from today and witnessed a circuit-level fall in stock price.
