NOC hikes petro-prices yet again

Petrol Rs 160, diesel and kerosene Rs 143 per liter

KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), the state oil monopoly, has hiked the prices of petroleum products yet again.

The NOC on Tuesday night hiked the prices of cooking gas, petrol, diesel and kerosene by Rs 5 per liter and cooking gas by Rs 25 per cylinder.

The prices of petroleum products have been hiked saying that the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) increased the prices of petroleum products.

With the new increment, the petrol will now cost Rs 160 per liter and the diesel and kerosene Rs 143 per liter.

Similarly, the aviation fuel will cost Rs 156 per liter.
