Nepal sees 91 new coronavirus cases, no death in past 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 25 new cases



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 68 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Sunday. There were two coronavirus related death in the country in the last 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases today, 54 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 14 from the antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, two coronavirus-related deaths have been added to the COVID-19 death tally in the past 24 hours. The COVID-19 death toll in the country is 11,947 to date.

Similarly, Kathmandu valley witnessed nine coronavirus cases in past 24 hours with five new cases in Kathmandu and five in Lalitpur district. There were no new cases recorded in Bhaktapur.

Currently, there are 6,461 active cases in the country as 538 infected patients recovered.
