Gold price scales record high

Hallmark gold being sold for Rs 101,900 per tola



KATHMANDU: Gold price jumped to a record high of Rs 101,900 on Sunday.

The price of gold has increased by Rs 2,000 per tola in the domestic market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA), hallmark gold is being sold for Rs 101,900 per tola today.

The gold price was Rs 99,900 on Friday.

Similarly, tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 101,400 and silver at Rs 1,415.

Gold prices have been rising in the international market due to the recent conflict between Russia and Ukraine because of which gold is becoming expensive in Nepal as well.
