Impeachment of CJ with consensus of ruling coalition: Mahara



BANKE: CPN (Maoist Center) leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara has said that the impeachment motion against Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana was registered with the consent of the ruling coalition.

Speaking at a program in Gulariya, he said that the impeachment motion has been registered to address the growing anomalies in the judiciary.

Leader Mahara, who is also the former Speaker, expressed concern over the fact that the party is becoming more urbanized and materialistic.

“We have launched the campaign of to return to the village to make the party a party of the people,” he said.

He expressed the belief that the book would inculcate the values of the revolution and help in institutionalizing the Maoist movement.
