Maoist Center holding Central Committee meeting even today

KATHMANDU: The Central Committee meeting of the Maoist Center, which was postponed on Friday, is being held at the party office, Parisdanda this afternoon.

A meeting has been scheduled to discuss the agenda including getting Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) approval from the party.

The faction led by party leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha had on Friday put different views on the MCC’s passage in the parliament.

Shrestha alleged Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” for being a broker in the interpretative declaration.

Prachanda, meanwhile, has already submitted a proposal of the decision to ratify the MCC in Friday’s meeting.
