Speaker Sapkota calls BAC meeting at 11 am

KATHMANDU: Speaker Agni Sapkota has called a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) at the Federal Parliament Building today morning ahead of the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR).

The meeting of the HoR is scheduled to take place at 1 pm, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat.

The Parliament Secretariat has already made public the agenda of the meeting.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to present the 21st Annual Report of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) in the parliament meeting.

The main opposition party, the CPN-UML, has maintained its stance of obstructing the parliament as its demands have not been addressed.

However, Speaker Sapkota has been conducting the meetings ignoring the UML protest.
