KATHMANDU: Police have arrested three persons for flying black balloons near Singha Durbar.

CPN-UML affiliated youth association had protested against the government by flying black balloons from the south gate of Singha Durbar and Maitighar area on Sunday.

According to the arrested youths, black balloons were flown in protest against the government’s delay in announcing the date of local elections and the increase in the price of petroleum products.
