Two Indian nationals arrested with drugs



JHAPA: Police have arrested two Indian nationals from Mechinagar in Jhapa along with brown sugar drugs.

Among the arrested are Mohammad Sultan, 25, and Ranjit Ganesh, 27, of Chunilal village in Darjeeling, India.

Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Jhapa, Deputy Superintendent of Police Basanta Pathak said that they were arrested on Saturday along with 15 grams of brown sugar.

A patrol team from Jyamirgadhi Police Post and Armed Police Force (BOP) Jyamirgadhi conducted a search operation on suspicion and recovered the illegal stuff from them.

The arrested have been kept at the Area Police Office, Dhulabari and further investigation is underway, police said.
