KATHMANDU: The weather affected by the westerly low-pressure system in the country is likely to improve from today.

The westerly low-pressure system subsided last night, resulting in clear weather on Sunday, according to meteorologist Pratibha Manandhar.

The southern plains of the country are predicted to have clear weather, the Weather Forecasting Division said.
