KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Dr. Narayan Khadka has spoken with his Indian counterpart Dr. S. Jaishankar over telephone on Thursday.

Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. Jaishankar took to Twitter Thursday to inform that he had completed a New Year call with Foreign Minister Dr. Khadka.

“Was an opportunity to recognize progress on so many fronts. Our Development Partnership and Covid collaboration have been noteworthy. Agreed to broaden the vistas of our cooperation,” Dr. Jaishankar wrote.

Meanwhile, another tweet of Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. Jaishankar said, the cabinet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi today took an important decision to sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nepal for construction of bridge over Mahakali River at Dharchula. “An important step to deepen our friendly ties,” he tweeted.
