Rhino found dead in CNP



CHITWAN: A rhino was found dead in the western belt of the Chitwan National Park (CNP).

According to the Information Officer of the CNP, Ganesh Prasad Tiwari, the male rhino was found dead in Gundrayidhaka community forest at Amaltari area in Nawalpur.

He informed that the hooves and horn of the rhinos are safe.

The officials have assumed that the rhino died of natural cause due to an old age.

A technical team has been deployed to the site for investigations.
