BIRATNAGAR: Province 1 Chief Minister (CM) Rajendra Kumar Rai has been bereaved of his mother.
Dhana Kumari, CM Rai’s mother, died today (Monday) at the age of 84. She breathed her last in the Intensive Care Unit of Biratnagar-based Morang Cooperative Hospital this morning.
She was suffering from breathing complications and was taken to Biratnagar from Jhyaun Pokhari of Shadananda municipality-11, Bhojpur few days back.
According to the family source, the mortal body of Rai will be taken back to home (Bhojpur) for last rites.
She is survived by her spouse, three sons and a daughter.
