Unified Socialist to impart training to newly-elected local representatives



KATHMANDU: The Unified Socialist party is providing training to the newly-elected local-level representatives.

A meeting of the party’s Secretariat decided to provide training to the local-level representatives.

Accordingly, a training program has been decided for the people’s representatives on July 20 and 21.

Party General Secretary Beduram Bhusal said that training would be imparted on local level rights, autonomy, coordination with the provinces and the center, cooperation with the party, transparency, and other issues.

The party has also decided to review the recently-concluded local-level election and the shortcomings of the five-party alliance.
