NC’s rival is UML, not Maoists: Ram Chandra Poudel

BHARATPUR: Senior Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel has said CPN-UML, not the Maoist Center, was the main rival of the Nepali Congress.

He said that the Maoist party was not a competitor of NC.

Speaking at an election rally of the ruling coalition in Chitwan today, Poudel criticized UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli for being anti-democratic.

Poudel lambasted Oli for dissolving the House of Representatives.

He also said that without the alliance, Congress would not have been able to form the government.
