Ruling coalition’s mass meeting underway in Bharatpur

Top leaders including Deuba, Prachanda and Nepal to address rally



KATHMANDU: A mass meeting of the ruling five-party alliance is underway in Bharatpur.

CPN-Maoist Center Chitwan Coordinator Ram Chandra Adhikari said that the rally to be held at the Central Bus Terminal in Bharatpur would be addressed by the top leaders of the ruling alliance.

Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, among others, are addressing the assembly.

Addressing the mass meeting, Renu Dahal, who is the common candidate of the ruling coalition in Bharatpur Metropolitan City, vowed to fulfil the aspirations of the people of Bharatpur.

The ruling coalition and the opposition CPN-UML have been regarding Bharatpur metropolis as a prestige issue and striving their best to seal victory there.
