Motorcyclist dies in Jhapa road mishap



JHAPA: A motorcyclist has been killed in a road accident at Tarabari road section of Damak-4 along East-West highway.

The deceased has been identified as Hamid Miya Ansari, 35, of Sunsari. The accident took place when a motorcycle heading towards east from west collided with a truck parked near Tarabari-based petrol pump on Friday night.

The motorcycle was burnt in the incident, said police. Further investigation into the case was underway, according to the Area Police Office, Damak.
