Nepali cricket team flying to Sri Lanka today

To play 4 practice matches



KATHMANDU: Nepali national cricket team is flying to Sri Lanka today for the preparation of ODI triangular series to be held in UAE under the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2.

Nepal will play four practice matches with the top teams of Sri Lanka. Nepali team will fly to UAE from Sri Lanka itself on March 14.

In UAE, Nepal will play triangular series matches with host UAE and Papua New Guinea. Nepal will play a first match of the triangular series with PNG on March 16.

It will play the second match with UAE on March 18, third match with UAE on March 21 and last match with PNG on March 17.

Under League 2, a total of seven teams are participating under League 2.
