Nepal sees 1,714* new coronavirus cases, nine deaths in past 24 hrs

Kathmandu valley witnesses 463 new cases



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 1714  new cases of coronavirus and nine deaths in the past 24 hours as of Saturday. The country had recorded 2,526 cases on Friday.

Likewise, there are 316 cases in Kathmandu, 43 in Bhaktapur and 104 cases in Lalitpur, taking the Valley’s total to 463 cases.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 16 coronavirus-related deaths have been added to the COVID-19 death tally in the past 24 hours. With this, the COVID-19 death toll in the country is 11,803 to date.

Currently, there are 52,780 active cases in the country as 4,771 infected patients recovered.
