In pictures: Isn’t Nepal a wonderland when it snows?

KATHMANDU: Isn’t it amazing when snows covering the hilltops transform an already beautiful scene?

The snowfall around Kathmandu and elsewhere created an opportunity people could not miss.

On a cold day, Kathmanduites braved the cold enjoying the beautiful winter scenes, reveling in snowy hills, and engaging in snowball fights.

The temperatures that plummeted with snowfall in areas surrounding Kathmandu, including Nagarkot, Chandragiri, Daman, among others gave people a reason to celebrate.

The weather in most parts of the country came to a sudden change with brief rainfalls in the lower areas and snowfall in the Himalayas.
