School shut down after students and teachers diagnosed with COVID-19 in Tulsipur

KATHMANDU: COVID-19 infection cases have been confirmed at a community school in Tulsipur of Dang district.

According to Bimal KC, a focal person of the Tulsipur Sub Metropolitan City, four students and two teachers tested positive for the coronavirus during antigen tests.

The antigen test had been conducted on the students and the teachers of Aishwarya Secondary School based in Tulsipur Sub Metropolitan City.

Preparations are underway to shut down the school following the diagnosis of the coronavirus in the students and teachers, said the school administration.

Earlier, the reports of six students came out to be positive during antigen tests carried out on Monday, shared KC.
