Maoist Center holding office bearers’ meeting today

KATHMANDU: The Maoist Center is holding a meeting of its office bearers today.

The meeting has been called to discuss and review the November 20 election, the outcome and government formation.

It should be noted that the party has already said it was open to all options on the issue of government formation.

Today’s meeting is also likely to discuss whether the party should continue with the five-party coalition or cooperate with CPN-UML to get into the government.

The Maoist Center has become the third-largest political party after the November 20 election.

It has won 17 seats under the first-past-the-post category.

Maoist Chairman Pushpa Pakaml Dahal Prachanda has already hinted at his willingness to become the Prime Minister.
