Traffic police take action against 2,702 people for violating traffic rules in Valley



KATHMANDU: Traffic police have taken action against 2,702 motorists in one day for violating traffic rules in different parts of the Kathmandu Valley.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, they were taken action for violating traffic rules.

The Office said 48 drivers for violating lane rules, 182 driving under the influence of alcohol, 62 people traffic lights, and 174 for honking in prohibited areas, among others.

Likewise, traffic police took action against 2,204 people for other reasons.
